Who is keeping close tabs on the fashion, make-up and of course, hair at New York Fashion Week? Well, we are!
And we are here to fill you in on the trend report.
Sleek slicked back hair with messy high knots. Forget the low, disheveled bun – 2015 is all about the wet look. To complement this look, aim for defined brows and flawless, dewy skin.
Choppy textured bobs with heavy bangs are also really in for this summer. Lots of layers and grit are needed to rock this look. Keep in mind that this only really works if you have lots of hair, or extensions!
¼ of the hair is in the fringe, and without lots of hair, this look can be mullet-ish, which is NOT in!.
Windblown braids are also in – but when are they not! We really do recommend at least ½ head of extensions for this look as there needs to be a beautiful thick messy braid, as well as tendrils around the front to achieve this. Word on the street is backstage at Michael Kors was an absolute cloud of dry shampoo to get this gritty, beachy look.
Following on from look 1, the wet look was also incorporated into a sleek pony, with lots of gold accents. For a nice thick pony, we recommend keratin bond extensions, as they are discreet and won’t be seen when the hair is pulled back, and will give you a nice thick pony.
